MADISON COUNTY (KFSM) – A Huntsville man is dead after deputies say he was beaten to death at a residence in the Alabam, Arkansas area.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched on a medical call at the residence on Friday (Feb. 20).
Upon arrival the deputy and EMS personnel discovered a male victim, identified as Michael Wayne Fawcett (46) severely beaten. EMS transported the victim to Northwest Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival at the center.
Brandon Boling (20) of Alabam, Arkansas, has been arrested and charged with 2nd degree homicide and is in custody at the Madison County Holding Facility pending transport to the Washington County Jail.
The sheriff’s office says the investigation is ongoing.
