FORT SMITH (KFSM) – A town hall meeting on veterans is scheduled to take place Monday (Feb. 23rd) in Fort Smith providing a public forum for people to address any concerns.
Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, located in Fayetteville, is hosting the public town hall at the main branch of the Fort Smith Public Library. A news release states it will serve as a discussion for veterans in our area and a listening session for those in leadership positions at the VA Medical Center.
In addition, the release goes on to state that representatives from the Veterans Benefits Administration will attend the meeting to help answer questions veterans may have.
Registration is not required for this free event. Veterans, family members, and others are welcomed to go. The library is located on 3201 Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith. It starts at 5:30 p.m.
