pit bull owners keep coming to their defense when these things happen. get a clue. don’t have these kinds of breeds around w/children. (or anyone else imho) just keep them to yourselves if you must have one….& suffer your own consequences. not the pit bull’s fault if something happens, it’s yours….even if there are 1000 nice pit bulls, all it takes is 1 unpredictable or uncontrollable one & that’s i too many

IMHO you have no idea what you’re talking about, I found an article where a girl was attacked by a pack of chihuahuas & another where a pointer killed an infant. I guess we should outlaw all dogs since it only takes 1.. The problem is when these things happen they put a picture of a pitbull on the screen and call out “pitbull attack!”,but when any other breed attacks its “dog attacks neighbor etc etc”.. and most people just assume its a pitbull.

as mentioned here, don’t leave children alone w/any breed….as far as your defence of pit bulls, just look @ the record. they claim top spot in attacks/ fatalities get a clue my friend

“all it takes is 1 unpredictable or uncontrollable one & that’s i too many”-Judy’s.. Sounds like you want to get rid of the breed to me. Prejudice Narrow minded opinion seems odd considering I was speaking in facts. I’m done with this conversation, going to go stand over my savage pitbull to make sure he doesn’t snap and start running around eating people due to his “killer instinct”.

While at least 4.5 – 4.7 million Americans are bitten by dogs every year, only about 20 to 30 of these bites result in death, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).[1][2] … Soooo we should ban an entire breed b/c they take the top spot on a list of 20 to 30 attacks out of 4.7 million? (that means a percentage of the total..since I know you’re not very good at this fact thing)

Please get a clue, or stop talking out of your A@@

did i mention banning the breed? just responsible ownership of a know killer breed instinct. part of that responsibility is getting the facts right about how pit bulls head the top of the list every time. try to move past your prejudice & narrow minded opinion. those who own this breed need to take extra precaution for a breed that has been bred for centuries to fight to the death. please educate yourself 🙂

Any animal will attack if it feels threatened, not just pit bulls. This is certainly a tragedy. Do not leave your child alone with any animal!
