Diamond Hog Game With Eastern Illinois Set For 2pm Saturday

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)-The Arkansas baseball team will play the first of a three-game series with Eastern Illinois Saturday at 2 p.m at Baum Stadium.

The Cal Bears were scheduled to fly in from Berkeley for a four-game series but inclement weather forced a change.

The Thursday and Friday forecasts in Fayetteville call for temperatures around 30 degrees with a small chance of snow flurries.

Saturday’s high is expected to be in the upper 30’s with a small chance of rain or snow. Rain is expected all day on Sunday.

Sunday’s game will begin at 1 p.m. Monday’s game will start at 2 p.m.

The Diamond Hogs are 4-2 on the season after going 1-2 in Mobile, Alabama last weekend. Arkansas lost to Central Florida 9-5 on Friday, beat host South Alabama 7-0 on Saturday and lost to No. 19 Maryland 13-6 on Sunday.
