CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) – A driver is okay after flipping her car multiple times down a steep ditch in Crawford County early Friday morning (Feb. 27).
The single-vehicle accident happened on Old Uniontown Road around 5:30 a.m., authorities said.
Once first responders arrived on scene, they talked with the driver who said she swerved while trying to avoid hitting a deer.
Authorities said no one was seriously injured in the accident; however, the driver is currently at a local hospital to be checked out, according to her family.
It took crews about an hour and a half to pull the car out of the ditch.
