FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – For the second straight day, Arkansas has announced that it has canceled it’s nonconference baseball game with Eastern Illinois due to winter weather.
The Razorbacks and Panthers are now scheduled to play a doubleheader at Baum Stadium on Monday (March 2).
The university said in a release that tickets from the previous three canceled dates will be good for attendance for the doubleheader.
Arkansas was originally scheduled to play a four game series against California starting on Feb. 26 but the threat of winter weather canceled that series before the Golden Bears arrived in Fayetteville.
Arkansas is currently 4-2 and will have eight days off between games. The Razorbacks lost 13-6 against Maryland on Feb. 22 in Mobile, Ala.
