FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - Tow companies across the region have been working around the clock this weekend, clearing roads and ditches of cars which fell victim to the winter weather.

A manager at NWA Towing Company said his company has towed, between Rogers and Fayetteville, more than 60 vehicles in one day.

That means the tow company averaged trying to retrieve almost three cars every hour for 24 hours.

The company says they operate with seven employees on call at a time.

NWA Towing says they have a partnership with local police departments, which makes them on-call to respond to police requests at all times.

They also attribute heavy workload to having two shops in Fayetteville and Rogers.
