Sebastian County Authorities Seize Quarter Pound Of Crystal Meth, Cash

FORT SMITH (KFSM) – Sebastian County authorities seized a quarter pound of crystal meth and cash on Tuesday (March 10), authorities say.

Keith E. Holland and Tashonda D. Holland were both arrested on suspicion of possession with purpose to deliver meth and possession of marijuana with purpose to deliver, according to police.

The Fort Smith Police Department, Greenwood Police Department and 12th Judicial District Drug Task Force were involved in the investigation, a news release from the Fort Smith Police Department states.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Hollands were pulled over near Interstate 540. Police said several baggies of pot were found, as well as a quarter pound of crystal meth.

The release states authorities also seized $1,160 worth of cash.

After arresting the Hollands, investigators obtained a search warrant for a residence in Russellville where an additional pound of crystal meth was found. More arrests in the case are expected, police said.

“Keith Holland is currently facing charges in Sequoyah County of distribution of a controlled substance, maintaining a place for keeping/selling a controlled dangerous substance, acquiring proceeds from drug activity and unlawful possession of paraphernalia stemming from a Nov. 24, 2014, arrest in Oklahoma,” the release states.

Both are being held in the Sebastian County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
