VAN BUREN (KFSM) – City officials along with state and local representatives will have a ribbon-cutting Thursday (March 19) for the new Van Buren Police station.
According to a news release, the new station is located at 800 Fayetteville Road. The price tag for the facility is around $3.6 million. The release states the project took about a year to complete, and was funded by part of the special election investment initiative from July of 2012.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 5 p.m., and there will be an open house from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
