FORT SMITH (KFSM)– The Arkansas Attorney General will make an appearance on Thursday (March 19) at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith.
Leslie Rutledge is scheduled to be the keynote speaker during the Criminal Justice Symposium.
Rutledge was elected as the first woman and first Republican in Arkansas history to serve as attorney general. She comes from Batesville and is the 56th attorney general in The Natural State.
Thursday’s symposium will kick off at 9 a.m. in the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. Rutledge will take the stage around 11:15 a.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
