FORT SMITH (KFSM)- The Easter Bunny was the star of a parade taking place at Central Mall Saturday morning (March 21).

Dozens of kids ages ten and under lined up just before 10 a.m. to participate in all the fun. Before meeting the Easter Bunny, the kids first decorated a hat or bonnet to wear in the parade. Then they marched to Center Court. Organizers said this is the first time the mall has hosted an Easter Parade.

5NEWS asked a couple kids what they were most excited about.

“To see the Easter Bunny,” Taylynn Ellis, 6, said.

“Eggs, hats,” Caydence Meyer, 4, said.

Kids also had the chance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny after the parade. If you didn’t make it out to the event, he will be at the mall until April 4. For a full list of the Easter Bunny’s hours and a coupon to save $3 on photos, click here.
