Possible Tornado Damages Chicken Farms in Clifty

CLIFTY (KFSM) - The National Weather Service confirmed a storm spotter saw a tornado touch down in Clifty, Ark. on Wednesday (March 25).

Debris from the storm was scattered across roads and tangled in fences.

One local chicken house was destroyed, after more than 200 feet of the roof was ripped off by the storm.

Nearby, Calico Farms saw damage to their property as well.

John Calico tells 5NEWS he expects the damage to his chicken houses will cost at least $55,000.
