BOONEVILLE (KFSM) – A Booneville home was destroyed after it caught fire early Monday morning (Mar. 30).
Deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office said the fire started just before 4:40 a.m. behind Booneville High School.
Firefighters on scene said the home belonged to former Booneville High School Head Football Coach Kenneth Rippy. Rippy also served as an assistant football coach at Van Buren High School in the past, according to district officials.
No one was home when the fire started, authorities said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
