Suspected Lottery Ticket Thief Sought By Fort Smith Police

FORT SMITH (KFSM) – The Fort Smith Police Department is looking for a suspected lottery ticket thief, authorities say.

On March 9 at 4 p.m., the Fort Smith Police Department responded to the Flash Market at 1549 N. Greenwood Ave. in regards to an unknown suspect stealing a book of lottery tickets, according to a news release.

Not long after the theft, some of the stolen tickets were taken to local businesses in unsuccessful attempts to collect winnings, police said.

The man pictured at right is the suspect police are looking for. Below is a picture of his truck, police said.
