SPRINGDALE (KFSM) – The Springdale Police Department made an arrest in a debit card theft case on Wednesday (April 8) within three hours of asking for the public’s help, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

Katherine Juarez, 25, was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday at 4:41 p.m. and faces charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and theft of property, jail records state.

The Springdale Police Department made a post on their Facebook page at 9:28 a.m. on Wednesday morning asking for the public’s help in finding a debit card theft suspect. By 9:32 a.m., police were already receiving tips identifying Juarez as the suspect, the post states.

At 12:41 p.m., Juarez was arrested by police, authorities said.

The suspect was released from jail 32 minutes after being booked in, jail records state.

Juarez’s court date has been scheduled for May 1 at 7:45 a.m.

She is accused of accruing more than $1,300 in transactions on a stolen debit card, police said.
