LOGAN COUNTY (KFSM)– The Logan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man being linked to a homicide investigation.
Nick Charles Stoicu was arrested Thursday morning (April 9) after fleeing from Polk County. Stoicu fled the area when officers attempted to arrest him in connection with a homicide that happened in Logan County on April 3.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to a home north of Booneville on Monday morning (April 6) where they found the body of 60-year-old Ritchie Lynch.
The sheriff isn’t releasing how Lynch died and said it’s unclear when he died. Lynch’s body has been sent to the state crime lab in Little Rock for an autopsy. Lynch’s family said they were trying to reach him for several days until his phone died. Police say one of Lynch’s sons went to his home and found him dead.
According to police, two other suspects were arrested earlier this week in connection to the homicide. They are being held in the Logan County Jail, but police have not released their names.
