FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Police in Fayetteville are looking for a man who allegedly raped a teenage girl on Friday (April 10), according to a post on the Fayetteville Police Department’s Facebook page.
Police said they are trying to locate Jose Mauricio Vargas. Vargas is wanted for questioning in the rape of a 13-year-old female at his home in Fayetteville on Friday, the post states.
Vargas was last seen driving a Green Acura four door passenger car with the Arkansas license 887UBB, according to the post.
The post states that Vargas could also be driving a silver Chrysler 300 with the Arkansas license 779TLP or a Blue Ford Explorer with the Arkansas license 023MIL.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Vargas is urged to contact the Fayetteville Police Department.
