FORT SMITH (KFSM) - One group is planning a reunion in the hopes of attracting the people who attended a school in Dyer, Arkansas during a period of more than 50 years. Dyer Women's Auxiliary ran a school from 1918 to 1972 in one of the town's first school buildings (pictured). For a "5NEWS This Morning" segment that aired Sunday (Apr. 12th), anchor Daren Bobb spoke to Cindy Jones who's in charge of this event that is taking place on June 13th. She told Daren they plan to have a sit down dinner and reminisce on old ball games.
For information on attending, call Jones at 479-312-7771 or 479-430-5249.
