After a series of wet days, we'll finally see drier weather for Thursday before the next low pressure system moves in from the west. Friday evening into Saturday and Sunday are currently trending overcast and wet.

The rain will be out of the area by Noon Thursday with highs climbing up into the 70s. We should see plenty of welcome sunshine during the afternoon.

Here's a snapshot of temperatures on Thursday at 6pm. Notice that many locations in the River Valley will be pushing 80º with locations in Northwest Arkansas in the mid 70s. Rain will be possible in SE Oklahoma but most of our area will be relatively rain-free.

On Friday, the rain chances will return by late in the day but the severe weather risk will be low again due to the nature of the slow moving upper level low. The severe weather risk will be in south Texas on Friday.
