FORT SMITH (KFSM) - For those in the River Valley looking for a hard run to burn some extra calories before the summer, the Boys and Girls Club of Van Buren is preparing to host their third annual 5K and one mile run. In a "5NEWS This Morning" segment that aired Saturday (Apr. 18th), anchor Daren Bobb discussed the "2015 Life's an Uphill Run" with Brittany Ransom. Ransom says all the proceeds will go back into the club to provide for much needed resources, especially during the busy summer months.
It cost $20 to participate if one registers by April 24th. Race day registration costs $25, but those early birds get a free dry-fit t-shirt and goody bag.
