Tour Seeks To Teach Fort Smith’s Rich History

FORT SMITH (KFSM) - An event called the resting place of Fort Smith's history will soon take place. The annual "Tales of the Crypt" walking tour will present participants a spookier side of Fort Smith offering tours around the Oak Cemetery. For a "5NEWS This Morning" segment that aired Saturday (Apr. 18th), anchor Daren Bobb spoke to Mike Richardson who's directing this free event.

It will be split over the course of two days with the first tour on Saturday, April 25th starting at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, April 26th a set of tours will take place at 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Organizers encourage participant to bring their flashlight for Saturday's night tour.
