Van Buren Police Investigating Series Of Vehicle Break-Ins

VAN BUREN (KFSM) - The Van Buren Police Department is investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that have taken place over the last three weeks, according to a news release.

All the break-ins took place in parking lots, and in every instance, a window was shattered to get at items of value, police said. The release states most of the items stolen were left in plain sight, and the break-ins have taken place during daylight hours.

The following locations are being investigated:

  • 1000 block of Pointer Trail
  • 1100 block of Pointer Trail
  • Cloverleaf Plaza
  • 2200 Block of Fayetteville Road (Walmart area)
  • 1300 Block of North 30th Street

Some of the items stolen include purses.
