FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- Many eyes will be locked on Las Vegas, Nevada Saturday (May 2) night as Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather face off in the ring in what's being called the fight of the century.
The fight is going to cost at-home viewers about $100 on Pay-Per-View. Others are choosing to watch the fight at local restaurants and bars, which are paying thousands of dollars to show it and charging patrons a cover.
According to the owner of Farrell’s on Dickson Street in Fayetteville, he paid $6,000 to show the fight at his business. He said that price was based on the restaurant's capacity limit, which is set by the fire department. Farrell’s will charge a cover of $20 for those dining in during the fight, and $25 for those just coming to watch.
