FORT SMITH (KFSM)-The 21st Judicial District Drug Task Force Seized Property Auction got underway Saturday (May 2) at 10 a.m.

Hundreds of people made their way out to the Kay Rodgers Park Expo Center, where the event took place. Around 160 guns, more than 30 cars, trucks, motorcycles and miscellaneous items were up for bid.

Ann and Paul Kinder said they drove all the way from Chester in search for a bargain.

“We have a little small garage and car lot, and I’m always interested in things for sale like tools, that kind of thing and [we’re also] looking for some cars and looking for guns,” Paul Kinder said.

Electronics, lawnmowers and tools were also up for bid. Additional fees were added to each gun for running a background check. Click here to look at all the items up for auction.
