MULBERRY (KFSM) – The 17-year-old boy who drowned at Bluff Hole Park on the Mulberry River Saturday (May 2) has been identified.
The drowning victim was identified as Mariano Solis, his family confirmed to 5NEWS. He was a student at Northside High School in Fort Smith, according to his family.
Authorities said the teen was crossing from one side of the river to another when he drowned. They also said the boy was with three other teenagers at the time.
