Seven Puppies Rescued From Fayetteville Drainage Ditch

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - Seven puppies were rescued from a Fayetteville drainage ditch on Sunday (May 3), according to Fayetteville Animal Services.

Two officers with Fayetteville Animals Services (identified as Officer Ridley and Officer Kimble) rescued the puppies. All of them were "dangerously close" to murky water, officials said.

The puppies are approximately four weeks old and are in good health.

Once the animals are cleared by a Fayetteville Animal Services veterinarian, they will be sent to foster homes.

If anyone is interested in fostering a puppy, they are encouraged to contact Fayetteville Animal Services by calling 479-444-3456.
