SPIRO, Okla. (KFSM) — Crews were hard at work this morning (May 12th) working a swift water rescue in Spiro.
LeFlore County Dispatch says the rescue happened off of Old Pocola Highway.
The driver was trying to cross the flooded highway when the high-water got into the bed of his truck, which forced him off into a ditch. The driver then climbed onto the roof of the truck and waited for crews to rescue him from the swift water.
