FORT SMITH (KFSM)-The River Valley Paranormal Research and Investigations team is hosting their first ever Old Fort Paracon from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday (May 30) at the McGill Community Center.

Supernatural enthusiasts will learn about Big Foot, UFO’s and paranormal activity detected in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.

Tickets cost $10 per person. Organizers said half the proceeds will go to flood recovery efforts through the River Valley Regional Food Bank.

“It’s important for me to help people, it always is,” Adrian Scalf, RVPRI member said. “We’ve raised over $29,000 for other charities, and my heart has always been to help families in our community.”

Scalf said the other half of the money raised will go to his group RVPRI, which is based in Fort Smith.

Organizers said more than 20 people were in attendance.
