22 Cats Found In Fayetteville In Need Of Foster Homes

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- Twenty-two cats and kittens found Wednesday (June 3) morning at an empty subdivision off of Happy Hollow Road in Fayetteville are in need of foster homes, according to a release from Fayetteville Animal Services.

There are three mother cats each with litters of kittens ranging in age from two weeks to four weeks old. Two kittens had died by the time they were found by animal control officers, the release states. The litters will be on medical hold for at least five days and most of them are very ill, according to the release. The cats are in need of foster homes, but won’t be released until late next week.

Anyone with information regarding the person or people who illegally dumped the cats should call Animal Services at 479-444-3556.

The requirements for fostering are the same as adopting and more information can be found here: http://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/612/Foster-Care.
