FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - The Razorbacks are headed to Omaha, and around thirty fans were at Baum Stadium Thursday (June 11) to send them off.

JR Pulido is an academic advisor for team, and said he was proud to support the players as they left for the NCAA College World Series.

"I feel like all of our sports, our spring sports are doing really really well and we're winning in the classroom as well, especially baseball have a 2.9 GPA in the spring season which is great," Pulido said.

Razorback fan Hunter Sagely said now is the best time to be a fan. The Hogs haven't been to the world series since 2012, and have never clenched the title. He said the team will have support no matter what the outcome.

"We are a family and we get it from all across the state and it's a feeling like you can't describe being from the state and being a razorback fan," Sagely said.

The Hogs face Virginia in game one on Saturday (June 13) at 2 p.m.
