LITTLE ROCK (KFSM) – Former Lowell representative Duncan Baird was appointed state budget administrator on Thursday (June 11), according to a news release.

Baird served as a representative from 2009 to 2014, according to his website. When he served in the House, he was chairman of the Joint Budget Committee.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson said, “I appreciate Duncan’s work as we crafted our first budget and worked with the legislature to enact it into law. In his new role, he’ll continue to play a critical part in both the budget process and our efforts to reform state government.”
