ARKANSAS (KFSM) – Gov. Asa Hutchinson is scheduled to travel to France and Germany as part of a business recruitment mission, officials say.

The governor will leave Little Rock on Saturday (June 13), according to a news release.

His first destination will be Paris to meet with prospective companies at the Paris Air Show. Arkansas will have a booth at the show run by representatives of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and other partners.

Hutchinson will meet with several prospective companies, as well as the leadership of aerospace businesses that already have a presence in Arkansas (like Dassault Falcon and Lockheed Martin), the release states.

After completing his work in Paris, Hutchinson will travel to Germany to meet with other prospective companies. There, he’ll attend the International Metallurgical Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, an exhibition event for steel technology.

The governor is scheduled to return to The Natural State on Friday (June 19), officials said.
