SEARCH AND RESCUE K9

BRYANT, AR. (KTHV) — A canine team is searching the 108-acre campus of the Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center today for a teen who ran from the recreation room Saturday evening and has not been located. 17-year-old Brandon Price was last seen on surveillance footage at 8 p.m. Saturday near the laundry area.

There is no indication that Brandon has left the facility. But out of an abundance of caution, the Department of Human Services Division of Youth Services (DYS) is releasing certain information to the public in case he was able to breach the razor wire-topped fence. Brandon is a white male with brown hair who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and is from Washington County. He was wearing a white t-shirt and Khaki pants.

Brandon has been at the facility for almost two months for non-violent, misdemeanor offenses. If a member of the public encounters Brandon, he or she is asked to call local law enforcement. DYS and G4S, which runs the facility for the state, are both conducting investigations into the incident.
