FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – A worker is injured after a beam reportedly fell on him at a construction site on Watson Street around 8 a.m., according to dispatchers with Fayetteville Fire.
Officials said the beam fell from between seven and eight feet.
Construction workers told 5NEWS the beam was wood, but officials have been unable to verify.
The worker was transported to Washington Regional Medical.
Initial reports from officials were that the worker only suffered minor injuries.
