HOT SPRINGS (KFSM) – Presidential candidate Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at an Arkansas event on July 17.

Trump is slated to be a keynote speaker for the Republican Party of Arkansas at the Reagan-Rockefeller Dinner in Hot Springs, according to a news release.

The event will take place from July 17 -18 and is the party’s biggest fundraising event of the year, officials said.

“Mr. Trump brings a very unique dimension to next year’s democratic process as a private entrepreneur and business leader,” Arkansas GOP Chairman Doyle Webb said.

Webb also said Trump is the second Republican presidential candidate to visit The Natural State already.

The Reagan-Rockefeller Dinner will take place at the Hot Springs Convention Center. Tickets can be purchased by calling 501-372-7301.

Trump may be a political novice but much of what he is saying is shared by a large number of voters. It is way past time to defend our borders and return our manufacturing capabilities to this country. Not for the unions mind you since they were a huge part of the reason we saw the exodus out of the country. In fact the unions should be heavily taxed. The mega-corps need to be paying for the right to do business here as well if they don’t want to locate their facilities here. These are the things we need to be paying attention to instead of these whiny fake concerns about whether a flag offends some minority group of people who weren’t even around at the time.
