SPRINGDALE (KFSM) - Storms rolled through Springdale just before competition time at the Rodeo of the Ozarks Thursday (July 2.)
However, that wasn’t enough to stop the crowd from turning out for the show.
Many were seen with ponchos and umbrellas, while storms passed.
Many families said they weren’t going to let a little rain stop them from getting out.
“We bought tickets, so we were coming,” Joyce Brown said. “We are hoping that [the rain] doesn't get us. But we've never been to a rodeo, so we thought this would be perfect.”
"We hope [the rodeo] doesn't get rained out, because we didn't bring an umbrella. So, we might get a little wet," said William Brown, an attendee.
