RUSSELLVILLE (KFSM) – A Confederate flag display rally was held in Russellville on Sunday (July 5) at 4 p.m.
Several people gathered at Old Post Road Park and then drove through the area with Confederate flags attached to their vehicles. Some vehicles were also displaying American flags.
The event was called Pope County Rebel Ride, and it was organized via social media during the previous week.
According to one person who participated in the event, more than 700 attendees showed up to the Pope County Rebel Ride. More than 4,000 people were invited to the event via Facebook.
