Flooding Closes Roads In Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM)- Several roads in Washington County were either closed or barely passable Tuesday (July 7) following several hours of rain.

Below is a list from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

Closed:

  • Ball Street in Johnson
  • Hunter Street in Farmington
  • South Highway 45 and Mockingbird Lane in Canehill
  • West Dye Creek Road in West Fork
  • Riverside Park in West Fork
  • Tilly Willy Bridge south of Fayetteville
  • Low water bridge at Sugar Hill Cutoff and Bush Valley Road

Barely Passable:

  • Cove Creek Road south of Prairie Grove
  • Highway 62 south of Hogeye
  • Butler Road near the Illinois Chapel Cemetery in Prairie Grove
  • Highway 62 near Lincoln Mountain east of Lincoln
