FORT SMITH (KFSM) – Educators from across the Natural State will be in Fort Smith Monday (July 13th) for a conference focusing on how to provide effective education for Arkansas’ youth.
The Arkansas Association for Alternative Educators is hosting the conference at the Fort Smith Convention Center, downtown.
Educators in attendance will be discussing how the Common Core affects uncommon schools, how alternative schools are unique and how to further the reach of alternative education in the state.
The conference kicks off at 9 a.m. Monday and runs through Tuesday afternoon (July 14th).
