You might think it is crazy to run outside in all of this heat, but for those of you who just have to get in that run, here are a few tips on how to beat the heat.
First, run by effort, not by pace.
Try to run earlier in the day when temperatures are not as hot.
Get off the roads. Asphalt and concrete absorb heat and radiate it back onto your body. Try trail running instead.
Do not wear dark colors.
Plan your run around water. Hydration is key.
