SALLISAW (KFSM) – A silver alert was issued for a man on a cross-country trip from Lucerne Valley, California to Fort Smith, and police believe he’s in Sallisaw.
According to the police department’s Facebook page, James Russell Sigler, 76, was suppose to meet his daughter in Fort Smith on Friday (July 17) when his Greyhound Bus arrived but the only thing on it were his bags. A McDonald’s employee claimed to have seen a man fitting his description, the social media post stated.
His daughter Nancy Mora told police her father was still riding the bus when it stopped in Oklahoma City. Police stated that Sigler suffers from gallbladder cancer and onset symptoms of dementia.
