FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Authorities identified the University of Arkansas staff member who was saved by two UAPD officers performing CPR on June 11.

Janice K. Harrison, 49, thanked the two officers in person on Wednesday (July 22), according to a post on the University of Arkansas Police Department Facebook page.

On June 11, two UAPD officers, Cpl. Waddell and Officer P. Edwards, used both CPR and a defibrillator to save Harrison’s life. The incident took place in the Arkansas Union building, police said.

The University of Arkansas campus directory states that Harrison is the associate vice chancellor of finance.
