BENTONVILLE (KFSM) – Since opening in Northwest Arkansas several years ago, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art has hosted major international showcases of influential and famous artwork. But on Wednesday (July 22) night, it will play a series of films by local artists highlighting its own backyard.

The third annual “Ozarkumentaries” is scheduled to run from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. showing a few short movies Arkansan filmmakers made about the Ozark region, according to the Crystal Bridges website. The Seedling Film Association is the group behind this event. Once the films are screened, the directors will stick around for a discussion with the audience.

It will be located at the museum’s Walker Landing. If someone is interested in attending, visit the museum’s website or call 479-657-2335.
