ALTUS GRAPE FEST

ALTUS (KFSM) — If you’re looking for terrific food and a great time, you’re in luck! The 32nd Annual Altus Grape Festival is happening this weekend.

The two-day festival celebrates the rich history of grape growing right in the middle of the wine capital of Arkansas.

Mount Bethel, Post Family Winery, Chateau aux Arc and Wiederkehr’s Winery will all take part in tours and tastings.

There are also plenty of things to do for those who are not old enough to drink, or for those who choose not to imbibe.

Folks can take part in an amateur wine making contest, check out the arts and crafts booths or enjoy the large variety of food vendors.

It kicks off at the Altus City Park Friday (July 24) from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Saturday (July 25) from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The park is located south of I-40, off Exit 41 at the junction of State Highway 186 and 64.
