FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- A Razorback men's basketball player, who was arrested on suspicion of forgery, is connected to two separate assault incidents at bars in Fayetteville, according to police reports.

The first assault happened on July 5 at West End, according to to a police report. Essence Singleton, identified by police as Jacorey Williams' girlfriend, told police Williams grabbed her by the arm and pushed her to the ground resulting in scrapes on her hands and knees, the report states. She also said that her fingernail was slightly torn.

According to another police report, the second assault happened on July 18 at Lit Lounge. Police said Williams punched a bouncer identified as Bryan Jones.

Jones told police that he had gotten "rocked" while working the door at the bar, the report states. Jones said he was knocked unconscious and could not see out of his right eye. The report states that Central EMS was called to check Jones out and suggested he go to the hospital. Jones had a friend take him to Washington Regional Medical Center. Jones notified police the next day that he had regained his vision and that there was no permanent damage, the report states.

Fayetteville City Prosecutor Casey Jones said Williams has not been arrested in connection to either incident.

"My understanding is that these are two incidents that didn't happen in the presence of police officers and therefore they couldn't make a probable cause arrest."

Jones said an arrest requires a warrant. In order to obtain a warrant, he said one of the victims has to file a complaint with the prosecutor's office. He said neither victim has come forward so far.

"They need to have a warrant and in order to get a warrant someone has to go down to the prosecutor's office and complain," he said.

Williams and three other Razorback men's basketball players were arrested July 22 on suspicion of multiple counts of forgery.

Williams, Anton Beard, 19, and Dustin Thomas, 19, were seen in surveillance footage using counterfeit $20 bills, according to an arrest report. Beard also asked a store clerk to exchange six counterfeit $50 bills for three $100 bills, and the clerk did so according to the report.

All three players have been suspended indefinitely from the men's basketball team, according to the University of Arkansas.
