FORT SMITH (KFSM)- A man wanted on suspicion of armed robbery turned himself in to the Sebastian County Detention Center Wednesday (July 29), according to the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office.

Steven E. Flynn, 47, was wanted after two people were robbed at gunpoint by two male suspects, according to Lt. Philip Pevehouse.

The robbery occurred in the early hours of July 27 in the 1800 block of Red Brown Place in Sebastian County, according to the sheriff’s office. Residents at the house told deputies they were held at gunpoint by two men while demanding money that was owed to them, the sheriff’s office said. A woman may have been with them, according to the sheriff’s office.

The unknown accomplice is described as a white 5’10” male, weighing 165 lbs. The female subject is described as 5’4″ inches tall and 140 pounds.

Pevehouse said the sheriff’s office is continuing the investigation.
