FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Police in Fayetteville are searching for two suspects after a delivery driver said he was attacked.

The driver said one of the suspects was showing a knife while asking for money, but the driver told them to “get lost” and pulled a hammer in defense, according to Sgt. Christopher Scherrey of the Fayetteville Police Department.

Scherrey said the two suspects are believed to be homeless, and are both white males.

He said the incident happened behind the Wendy’s on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
