ROGERS (KFSM) -- Inside the John Q Hammons Center the Coaching Summit, with around 500 coaches in attendance took place on Thursday (July 30). The summit gave insight to coaches on how to improve player safety both on and off the field as the school year approaches. Coaches who made it out to the event were able to hear from Razorback head football coach Bret Beilema.
Regional and national experts were able to provide the coaches with instruction on sports nutrition, injury prevention, health illness recognition and treatment and strength and conditioning.
Coaches were able to receive professional development credit for attending.
