Police: Rogers Stabbing Suspect Arrested In Oklahoma

ROGERS (KFSM) — A man wanted on an attempted murder charge for stabbing his girlfriend at her Rogers home was arrested in Oklahoma Tuesday (August 11), according to the Rogers Police Department.

On Monday at around 7 p.m., Rogers police officers responded to a home on West Murdock Lane where they found a woman lying on the floor with multiple stab wounds to her extremities and back, according to the media release. The woman was transported to the emergency room and was later listed as being in stable condition.

The woman was stabbed during an altercation with her boyfriend, Terrance Keith Billups, 35, and an arrest warrant was issued for him on first-degree attempted murder and aggravated assault on a family or household member charges, according to the release.

Billups was apprehended in Nowata, Oklahoma Tuesday without incident and is awaiting extradition back to Arkansas, the release states.
