CLARKSVILLE (KFSM) — A Havana man is being held without bond at the Johnson County Detention Center after he was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges.
Anthony Fowler, 40, was arrested Tuesday (Aug. 11) on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm, a fictitious vehicle license and failure to pay registration with the Arkansas Highway Patrol, according to the detention center’s website.
A Johnson County Sheriff’s Office release stated Fowler was stopped for having fictitious tags on his vehicle.
Fowler appeared nervous and became shaky, the report stated, and the officer was asked to deploy his K-9.
The reports stated K-9 Basha alerted on the car, and a search on the vehicle uncovered 27 grams of methamphetamine.
Fowler will have a court date on Sept. 4, 2015 at the Johnson County Courthouse.
